Marcum Unveils Atypical Open-Plan Office Design

Boston—Marcum LLP has revealed its Boston office plan, as part of the accounting company’s national campaign of workplace renovations and expansions. The 50,000-square-foot space, occupying the 17th and 18th floors of the building at 53 State St., will be an “organized, yet abstract” open-plan designed by Spector Group.
The corridor free plan features floating glass cube executive offices with team and department areas, all in a relaxed, living room-like atmosphere. Marcum employees can get together into one of the many alternative collaborative work areas and enjoy a break in a bistro or café, as there are several on each floor. The lively ambience is also present in the Marcum “meeting place”, a versatile meet, relax, talk, play, drink and eat space that stimulates interaction…
