Miami Dolphins Stadium Undergoes Major Makeover

Miami—Hunt Construction Group, an AECOM company, recently finished the second top-out phase of the 65,326-seat Dolphins Stadium, home to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. Hunt is the construction manager for this multi-year renovation that will modernize the vibrant entertainment destination.
The work during phase two, which will be completed for this upcoming NFL season, includes a 626,000-square-foot canopy with four spires that reach 357 feet high in each corner of the stadium. The canopy provides shade for 92 percent of the fans, an increase from only 17 percent prior to the renovation. The canopy is built with resiliency in mind to withstand Category 4 hurricane winds.
