Seattle Airport Marriott Sells, Changes Management
ByRecently acquired by AWH Partners from Host Hotels & Resorts, the 459-key property will undergo extensive renovations.

Seattle—Spire Hospitality will assume management responsibilities for the 459-key Seattle Airport Marriott. The property has traded for a reported $91 million, with AWH Partners—Spire’s owners—and joint venture partner Starr Properties acquiring the asset from Bethesda, Md.-headquartered Host Hotels & Resorts. Spire Hospitality will operate the location under a franchise agreement with Marriott.
In the near future, Spire will oversee extensive renovations, which will include doubling the 15,000-square-foot meeting and events space, finishing off the refurbishing of multiple areas and reconfiguring the atrium…
