Washington Prime Group Unveils Scottsdale Quarter Expansion

Scottsdale, Ariz.—Washington Prime Group Inc. has announced a new redevelopment project, consisting of a significant expansion of Scottsdale Quarter, an open-air shopping mall located in Scottsdale, Ariz. Construction on the project is expected to commence later this year, with tenants starting to open in 2018.
The first part of the expansion, already completed, comprises the buildings on the north and south parcels currently occupied by American Girl and Design Within Reach, as well as luxury apartment units and office space. The second phase of the redevelopment includes approximately 300 new luxury apartments and 35,000 square feet of street-level retail. The residential component of the project is led by Lennar Multifamily Communities (LMC).
